Description
Dr. Mario and Puzzle League –For the first time both classic Nintendo puzzle games will be available on one games cartridge. These games are simple, addictive, fun and have an amazing variety of game modes to ensure hours of enjoyment. Dr. Mario and Puzzle League launches across Europe for the Game Boy Advance on 4th November 2005.
Dr. Mario is an updated version of the NES version dating back nearly 15 years ago. It is a Tetris like puzzle game where the player must destroy the different coloured tablets which fall down by matching the coloured viruses below. The idea is to create a set of four blocks of the same colour which will delete the entire line.
The tablets can be rotated so the best possible position can be found. Once the blocks have been combined and a chain has been achieved, pills and viruses are cleared off the screen. Players must clear line after line to keep the blocks from reaching the top.
Puzzle League was originally introduced for the SNES and adapts the block puzzle concept used in Dr. Mario. This time the player needs to make a variation of chains, combining at least three square blocks by shifting two at once.
The game features an extensive single player mode and a tutorial mode that explains advanced strategies and a two-player battle option. To add to the fun and excitement you can fully customise your game by choosing background wallpapers and music.
You can select multiplayer options on both games and players can send a demo version of the game to another player using the Game Boy Advance Game Link cable. The demo will stay in the memory until the other Game Boy Advance is switched off.
